Virtual Crime Scenes
Virtual crime scenes have become a new hit in these last few years. These crime scenes can be a new way of training. Scenarios can help train new investigators to look for evidence or they could even be new ways of training people on machines.
This crime scene was created on SecondLife by students from James C. Enochs High School in California and it was solved by students from Kyoto Guaken in Japan.
In the virtual world, computers can even be hooked up to the internet.
This computer(left), for example, is hooked up to the NCBI(National Center for Biotechnology Information) website.

A plus on virtual crime scenes is that you can work on them with investigators abroad.
