Ethical and Legal Issues

Ethical issues are issues that are controversial to morals. The obligations crime scene analysts have to their communities are that they must protect the citizens and keep the crime level down. Many people fear that analysts might have skewed views or are not honest in their work. That is why, above all, crime scene analysts must be honest, and present every discovery clearly and not in a bias way. Tampered evidence creates legal issues and may become invalid in the court.

The government has an obligation to support crime scene analysis because the the government can only run well if society is doing well. If crime scene analysis was not supported, it would be disastrous because there would be less evidence to work with in a court. Less evidence would create a greater source of error on rulings.

The job of a crime scene analyst is to uncover evidence that can be used in a court. They  are supported by civilians and the government, whom both want a society that runs smooth, to limit crime, and to put convicts behind bars.
